The fifth generation of the mobile network is the global standard for wireless technology after the 1G, 2G, 3G, and 4G networks. As per the internet, the 5G network will offer a 100x better speed than the 4G network leading to lightning speed for our mobile networks and an uninterrupted interface for human interaction over the internet with media, objects, and devices.
The 5G network will help us hit a benchmark in delivering enormous high data speed, higher reliability, huge network capacity, increased availability, and a more consistent and steady user experience. With a 5G network in India, we will achieve disruptive connectivity among mobile broadbands. It will supposedly change the future for critical missions and scientific procedures. We will see the vast impacts of IoT owing to this latest technology.
Advocating effect of network
We have no solid studies supporting the claim that the 5G network impacts the environment and human health. When the Netherlands launched a 5G network in the country, news of Sparrow eggs mutations followed. However, the country officials denied any such claim. Further, WHO also supported the technology by committing that the above claim holds no truth and we have no long-term impact on short-wavelength radiations emitted by the technology.
There are tons of adverse effects on our health due to the intense radiation emitted during the method. Tons of scientists, researchers, and doctors protested even before the launch of this network in other countries. Quite 10,000 scientific studies and papers showcase the harm to human health caused by these radiations. It includes cardiac rhythm, altered organic phenomenon, altered metabolism, cancers, disorder, cognitive impairment, impacts on general well-being. it also affects learning and memory deficits, impaired sperm function and miscarriage, neurological damage, and tons more.
The scenario of 5G Network in India
The environmental activist and actor Juhi Chawla has raised a petition in court against introducing the 5G network in India. She stated it would severely impact the quality of the environment and human health in the nation. While no scientific study has proven the long-term impact of the 5G network in India on environmental and human health, we must acknowledge that the radiations from cell towers and cell phones have very highly impacted birdlife. We do not see as many sparrows as we used to in the late 20th century.
Studies claim humans have encountered significant impact due to mobile/cell tower radiations. While we still advocate the effect of the 5G network in the country, we must not completely ignore the facts of radiation’s impact on human and environmental health. The topic is still up for debate in the long run until we certainly face the consequences.

There are Many claims against proponents of 5G regarding its safety, including a 2018 article alleging that a 5G network test in the Netherlands killed hundreds of birds. The IARC recently prioritized RFR to be examined again in the next five years based on research published after 2011, including human and animal studies and mechanistic data. The IARC is likely to upgrade RFR’s carcinogenic potential shortly since many EMF specialists believe we now have enough evidence to declare it a probable or known human carcinogen
