Harmeet Desai improved in the crucial singles match and ranked 71 in worldwide as the Indian Men’s Table Tennis team retained its Commonwealth Games Gold medal during a tense conflict with Singapore in Birmingham. He is also a bronze medal winner in the men’s double.  


Sudhir won the gold medal in the men’s heavyweight para powerlifting competition. In his first attempt, he lifted 208 kg, and in his second, he increased the weight to 212 kg in order to score 134.5 points and beat the Games record. 

Sakshi Malik

Sakshi Malik, a wrestler, won gold in the women’s 62 kg division in the 2022 Commonwealth Games. Her success increased the number of medals won by the nation and made the country proud which also motivated many youngsters in India. 

Deepak Punia 

Wrestler Deepak Punia increased India’s medal haul by winning the gold medal in the men’s freestyle 86 kg competition at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham in 2022.

Vinesh Phogat

Vinesh Phogat won the women’s 53 kg gold medal at the 2022 Commonwealth Games by defeating Chamodya Keshani Maduravalage Don of Sri Lanka in their final group match.


Naveen defeated Muhammad Sharif Tahir of Pakistan to win the gold medal in men’s freestyle 74 kg wrestling.

Bhavina Patel

At the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games, well-known Indian para table tennis player Bhavina Patel won the medal. She won in the women’s singles class 3-5 gold medal.

Ravi Kumar Dahiya

Ravi Kumar Dahiya won the men’s 57 kg freestyle gold medal by defeating Nigeria’s Ebikewenimo Welson.

Nitu Ghanghas

In the currently taking the place of the Commonwealth Games 2022, Indian boxer Nitu Ghanghas won the women’s 48 kg title with a Gold Medal.

Amit Panghal

In Birmingham in 2022, Indian boxer Amit Panghal won the men’s 51 kg championship, and India’s fortunes improved.

Eldhose Paul

Eldhos Paul led India to a historic 1-2 finish in the men’s triple jump after winning a very rare Gold Medal in track and field competitions. Many renowned celebrities started following him.

Boxer Nikhat Zareen won the CWC 2022 gold medal match. She won against Carly McNaul of Northern Ireland in the women’s 50 kg division.

Sharath Kamal and Akula Sreeja became the winners and won India’s first mixed doubles. By winning the gold medal at the CWG 2022, they made the day memorable for Indians. 

 PV Sindhu 

By winning the Gold Medal at the currently taking place of the Commonwealth Games 2022 in Birmingham. PV Sindhu has once again brought honor to her nation. In the Women’s Singles championship match, the badminton player defeated Canadian Michelle Li 21-15, 21-13 to claim the gold medal for the CWG 2022.

Bajrang Punia 

Bajrang Punia, a 65 kg champion, and Olympic bronze medallist, successfully defended his title by winning three of his four matches in the preliminary rounds. He is a wrestler, brought honor to his nation by winning gold in the Men’s 65 Kg division.

Lakshya Sen

Lakshya Sen won the gold medal in men’s singles badminton at the Commonwealth Games 2022, following PV Sindhu.

Kamal Sharath

He broke Kamlesh Mehta’s record of eight National Championships. He became the first Indian table tennis player to win the title ten times as Senior National Champion. Kamal won the Gold Medal in the Men’s Singles Table Tennis event at the CWG 2022. 

Double Badminton for Men

Satwiksairaj Rankireddy, an Indian badminton player, was born on August 13, 2000. With a career-high rating of 7, he and his partner Chirag Shetty are the first men’s doubles team from India to be rated inside the top 10 of the BWF World Ranking.
