Biofuels are the future.

Due to hike in diesel and petrol prices, the car owners have to carry out high expenditures. The cost of fossil fuels is increasing, and it is a constant price factor that is hindering the environment.

India targets to become an EV manufacturing centre by 2025

  • Gadkari said that India will turn into an EV manufacturing Hub by 2025. As the government expands its support to the EV industry, it will help in the auto sector’s development. Further, he proclaimed that the government is presently on its primary electric highway, which will connect to the Delhi-Mumbai Green Corridor.

Problems occurring for e-mobility

The charging groundwork for e-mobility is a major issue. There are about 1000 charging stations for electric cars in India. On the other hand, the population of vehicles on the road is getting huge. The proportions are impractical, and that’s why there is dread among the customers. They should not be trapped in the middle of the road whilst waiting for the installation of a charging station. The battery charging system of electric vehicles consumes much time. It is always hard to break the old traditions and build new customer behaviour. Also, there is no availability of primary battery cell manufacturing, and thus it involves a major risk for trade shortfall. Presently, many manufacturers depend on batteries traded from China, Korea, Japan, and Europe. Therefore, the Indian market requires native know-how suitable for India from a tactical and financial standpoint, like aluminium fuel cells.
