IPL carnival is back for the cricket lovers, or I should mention ‘India ka tyohar’ is back. The Indian premier league is known as IPL15 by cricket fans. It was established in 2007 by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). This is the 15 seasons of the IPL, which TATA sponsors. The carnival begins on 26/March/2022, and the final match will be held on 29/MAY/2022. The Indian Premier League is one of the most talked-about topics in India.
Craziness about IPL in an Indian family
Everyone is crazy about IPL, from toddlers to the elderly. Every family member has a favorite IPL team to which they are emotionally attached. If one of the family members’ IPL team loses a game, the others begin to tease them, and this fun buffoonery mood continues with the IPL. But why are people obsessed with the IPL? What makes the IPL such a heated topic? If you are not excited to know, this page is not for you. This page is only dedicated to those who are die-hard IPL enthusiasts.
Families come together in the IPL.
Just like Diwali and Holi are the biggest festivals in India, now IPL is also incorporated into that list. People began to treat the IPL like a festival since it attracted cricketers worldwide, which added more drama and excitement to the event. Nobody wants to be left in the dark about what was going on in the game at the IPL festival. The nail-biting death overs add drama, emotion, and tension to the story.
A short-duration sport that may be enjoyed in a short amount of time.
IPL was created for the busy people who love cricket but don’t have the time to watch a five-day test match, and there are also a large number of ardent cricket fans who keep up with the sport and its several seasons. To keep the fans’ love and in this fast-moving world, T-20 was a need. T-20 brought new audiences and love for the shorter format due to its duration. But it was still one that took cricket to the next level. People also love the timing of the IPL because most of the time, in the evening, people are back home, so they can easily watch the game.
The game is not without its drama and controversies.
As we all know, games are not without controversies and drama, and we all love drama. Controversies and drama have always been a part of the IPL matches, which also have made the IPL the trending topic every year. On both sides, either the ground or on the ground, action is always seen. The hype around the player’s auction or the grand parties thrown by the team owners ensured glamor in the gentleman’s game. Indians love cricket, Bollywood needs no introduction, and IPL was just the right mix.
IPL is a platform that gathers cricketers from all around the world.
IPL is one single platform which gathers cricketers from all over the world. From Mahendra Singh Dhoni to David Warner and Virat Kohli to Jos Butler, cricketers come worldwide to participate in IPL and different IPL team, which makes IPL more interesting for cricket fans. Indian fans aren’t the only ones that get enthusiastic about the IPL because it attracts overseas cricketers, and so fans from all around the world are excited. As an AB de Villiers fan in Australia, I would always root for the Delhi Capitals IPL Team in Bangalore.
